Since we go there often, I've already been on the cart racing, the tight ropes, the zip line, etc. So this time my mom and I decided to go to Scandinave Spa! It's a 19+ activity so my sister couldn't come. It was really nice though! We didn't get a massage (so expensive) but we went into the outdoor baths! This is what you're supposed to do:
1. Heat: Go into a hot bath, a sauna, or steam room for 10-15 minutes
2. Cool Down: Take a cold shower for 10 seconds
3. Relax: Lie down on a hammock, sit on a beach chair near the fire place, etc.
It was so relaxing! The cold showers were a bit too... cold so I skipped that step but everything else was a blast! Isn't it lovely?
Later in the afternoon, we drove out to Wasaga Beach! We didn't stay for long but it was really nice to get a bit of a tan.
There was actually a lot of people there on a Sunday afternoon. But then again, it was really nice weather!
My beach essentials (plus my camera): sunglasses, phone, notebook, a good book
I believe I stayed at the building on the left.
On Monday, before we headed back home, we went to Scenic Caves! They have nature adventures which includes going on a 420 foot suspension bridge and going through trails, caves, and caverns that were carved million years ago by ice glaciers! It was so awesome because at each special destination, it would tell you what the specific area was used for by the natives!
Ugh... my asian eyes. But here's the bridge! We took a family picture and we asked a man that was on the bridge to take it for us. And it turns out that he was the one who designed the bridge! It was so awesome. I was just like "WOW. We're so proud of you for designing the bridge" (#awkwardpolly)
This is the "Ice Cave". It's about 4 degrees celcius in there which was so weird because where I was standing was at least 20 degrees. And the natives used to use it as a refrigerator!
LOL hi. On this trip, two different people asked if we were twins... We don't even look alike! And that means I either look like I'm 15 or my sister looks like she's 19.
This was one of the cave openings! It's called "Fat Man's Misery" because the opening is only 36 cm wide and there's a even smaller opening inside that's like 14 cm. But don't worry, even though I'm not in the greatest shape, I fit in!
Overall, this was a great trip! It was relaxing and adventurous at the same time. Y'all should go if you haven't been!
xx
