TOULA @ SUMMERLICIOUS

It's summer and guess what that means? SUMMERLICIOUS! I go every year because who doesn't like food and who doesn't like a 3 course meal for a cheaper price than usual? Roy and I decided to go to Toula at the Westin Harbour Castle down at Harbour Front! I picked it mostly because of the view - it's on the 38th floor so you can see the lake and the city!

It's a fancier restaurant so I decided to wear my camis, asymmetric skirt from zara , and a nice flowery cardigan!

The restaurant was lovely and had a great atmosphere. 

This was the appetizer I got - The Grilled Tiger Shrimp. It was shrimp wrapped in bacon, something you don't eat everyday! I really liked it.

For my main meal, I got the Handmade Tagliolini al Ragu D'Agnello. To be hoenst, I have no idea what that even means but in simpler terms, it was spaghetti with lamb. It was decent, I guess. Not the best thing I ever ate but it wasn't bad.

For desert, I go the homemade assorted gelato with Amaretti. This was nice! I'm not a big fan of desert but this was simple and sweet.

Overall, it was a good experience!

After that, we took a walk along the lake and I got to capture this lovely picture! I love sunsets.

After that, we decided to go to O&B for more dessert... because we're fat and why not go to O&B? We ordered sorbet which was deeeeeeeeee-licious!

Hopefully, I'll go to summerlicious again before it ends!

Miss Asia Scavenger Hunt

Hallo! I had the honour of accompanying my friend Yiting as she did her scavenger hunt for Miss Asia ATV. Basically, each Miss Asia contestant had a group of 4 members. We had several lists of restaurants, landmarks, and tasks to do and find around Toronto. It was really really fun even though I woke up the next day with really sore legs and ankles.

We literally ran and commuted across Toronto... At each task/stop, we had to take a picture to prove we got there and did what we were told and post it on Instagram.

 We went to Sukho Thai and we were gifted with a beautiful meal! I really liked the curry noodles dish - it was delicious! 

We had to take a picture of the food, eat it, and then promote it on our social media platforms (basically we had to advertise at each place). But it's okay, we got free food!

I think this is my favourite picture of them all. 

It was a tiring day but it was totally worth it! We got 10th place which isn't bad :)

max max max!

On June 26th, I went to the Max Schneider concert with Jasmine and Melissa. I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan but I do listen to his covers a lot so why not go and support him? The concert was held at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club on College Street downtown. I've never been there before so that was exciting!

There weren't that many people there. To be honest, I thought there would be more people but it wasn't even half filled. We waited quite a long time for the concert to actually start which was kind of disappointing since I'm not a very patient person. But then again, concerts usually start late. Alexz Johnson started off as the opening performance. I've never heard of her before but she was pretty good.

After an hour, Max Schneider finally came out! He's pretty cute hehe. He has a pretty great stage presence and who knew he could dance and groove like that! Overall, I thought the concert was decent. Everyone was pretty hyped up and I had quite a lot of fun.
